Note: Even though the trailers in the "Twitch Player" say that the previews are unavailable, they should work.
Below is a four minute trailer for the new Terminator movie, Terminator Salvation.
This movie looks really promising. Here's hoping that director McG is able to pull it off...
Next up, I've got a couple of martial arts movie trailers for your viewing pleasure. The first is for the Japanese film Kamui. It's no secret that foreign films are catching up with the American stuff in terms of visual flair, and this trailer further proves that point.
The next trailer is for a movie that bears the strikingly creative title Ninja. In it, we move to modern day New York City for some more martial arts action.
I'm getting a 1980s/1990s thowback vibe from this...in a good way.

More Czech Noir
This movie is looking gorgeous. It's called "Normal" and is a noirish offering from the Czech Republic. Be warned, the trailer contains some brief nudity (pretty sure it's just male buttocks), and sexual content.

What the...?!
Are you feeling down? Are you tired of the same old, paint-by-the numbers entertainment? Well then, could I interest you in a...I dunno...maybe a retelling of the Iranian Hostage Crisis with cute, fuzzy animals?

Czechs, Vampires, and Neil Gaiman
I ran into this trailer for the Czech film, Normal on Twitch the other day, and it looks pretty amazing.
Hopefully, the film will get a U.S. release sooner rather than later. I'm really digging the noirish vibe I'm getting from the trailer.
Although I have a general dislike for Twilight and some of the other soap operas that have hijacked the vampire genre, I'm actually pretty obsessed with vampires. The following trailer is for a live action version of Blood: The Last Vampire. Now, I've already seen the short anime film this is based on, and I actually enjoyed it (despite its simple plot and undercooked characters). For one thing, that movie is really, really pretty. Definitely one of the better-looking animated films I've seen. Secondly, the character of Saya, a demon-hunting, Japanese girl, is actually pretty cool. I like how she was basically pissed off the entire run time of the movie.
An anime series based on the character was also produced, but from what I can tell, it's bland and relatively unoriginal. It also seems to have removed much of the protagonist's badass persona. That's just not cool... Anyway, this trailer doesn't look particularly great, but I thought I'd post it anyway:
Neil Gaiman is a god among men. I simply cannot say how much I envy his talent and all-around coolness.
Coraline, based on one of Neil's children's books of the same name is a really good movie and you should definitely check it out before it leaves theaters for good. In case you need any convincing, here is Mr. Gaiman talking about one of the movie's primary motifs:
